Certificate Program
Program Overview
This short-term certificate program prepares individuals to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in support of engineers engaged in using programmable logic controllers in a safe working environment. Hydraulic principles applied to hydraulic motors, directional valves, pressure control valves, and hydraulic actuators.
Program Outcomes
- Demonstrate understanding of the theory and operation of basic industrial systems in a safe workplace environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic diagrams and interpret National Codes.
- Demonstrate the ability to install and connect components and program devices used in basic industrial systems.
