This course is an introduction to health insurance claim processing with the emphasis on completion of CMA1500 claim form for the major health insurance plans. Information about federal health care legislation, CPT, ICD-9 and CMS reimbursement issues is included. Prerequisites of MED2258, MED2265. Corequisites of MED2268. Course fee of $67.50.
