Ohio Governor Mike DeWine Reappointments Belmont College Board of Trustees Members

Belmont College announces the reappointments of of Mr. Richard Myser and Mr. Mark Romick to the College Board of Trustees.

St. Clairsville, OH (September 25, 2026) – Belmont College is pleased to announce the reappointments of Mr. Richard Myser and Mr. Mark Romick. Both members were reappointed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.

Mr. Myser and Mr. Romick were reinstalled at the September 24th, Board of Trustees meeting with Attorney Cory DelGuzzo, of Northwest Law, administering the Oath of Office. Mr. Myser will serve on the Board as a representative of Belmont County and Mr. Romick will represent Monroe County.

Mr. Myser, from St. Clairsville, Ohio, currently works as an attorney for Myser & Myser Law Firm in Bridgeport, Ohio. He has practiced law for more than 45 years, and specializes in probate and estate administration, real estate, estate planning, business, and corporate law, as well as oil and gas. He is a graduate of Marion College, B.A. with high distinction-Getty Scholar 1994, and Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law. Mr. Myser serves on many boards locally, including Bridgeport Rotary, Ohio Valley Chapter American Red Cross, Valley Hospice, Belco Works, and St. Clairsville Chamber of Commerce, among others.

Mr. Romick, from New Matamoras, Ohio, currently works as an administrator for the Switzerland of Ohio School District. He has worked in education for more than 41 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Additionally, Mr. Romick has worked successfully over the past four years to coordinate the Early Work Placement Program at the Swiss Hills Career Center. He is also managing the Appalachian Regional Commission Power Grant project for Workforce Development in Switzerland of Ohio.
