Belmont College Offers Real Estate Courses Through Workforce Development and Community Education
St. Clairsville, OH (February 20, 2026) – Belmont College is now enrolling students in its upcoming Real Estate Courses offered through the Workforce Development and Community Education Department. This comprehensive program prepares individuals to pursue a rewarding career as a licensed real estate agent.
Class Dates: March 9, 2026 – May 11, 2026
Class Schedule: Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM (beginning March 9) and every other Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (beginning March 21).
Location: Pugliese STEM Building, Steubenville High School Campus, 420 N. Fourth St. Steubenville, Ohio
This program is approved under the WIET list and may qualify for funding assistance. Prospective students are encouraged to contact their local OhioMeansJobs office as soon as possible to begin the application process.

To qualify for a real estate license in Ohio, individuals must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete 120 hours of approved real estate education within the 10-year period immediately preceding their application. This education must be completed at an institution of higher education that awards a degree in at least a two-year program.
Coursework includes:
- Real Estate Principles and Practices (40 hours)
- Ohio Real Estate Law, including instruction in civil rights, housing discrimination, and desegregation issues (40 hours)
- Real Estate Appraisal (20 hours)
- Real Estate Finance (20 hours)
Belmont College’s program is designed to meet these educational requirements and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to begin a successful career in real estate.
