Belmont College Announces Pandora Neuhart Memorial Scholarship

St. Clairsville, OH (May 19, 2026)  – Belmont College is pleased to announce the establishment of the Pandora Neuhart Memorial Scholarship, created to honor the lasting legacy, leadership, and dedication of Pandora Neuhart to Belmont College.

The scholarship was established through the generosity of Pandora Neuhart’s family and friends and will provide financial assistance to Monroe County residents pursuing higher education at Belmont College. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded annually as funds are available. The scholarship is open to Monroe County students enrolled in any degree or certificate program at the College, with preference given to students demonstrating strong academic performance and a commitment to continuing their education or seeking career transition opportunities.

Pandora Neuhart was appointed to the Belmont College Board of Trustees in 2008 and faithfully served the College in that capacity for more than 12 years. In recognition of her dedication and service, she was later bestowed the distinguished title of Trustee Emeritus.

A lifelong advocate for education and community service, Ms. Neuhart also served Monroe County as County Auditor after first being elected in 1998 and subsequently re-elected to four additional terms. Throughout her career, she was recognized for her strong leadership, work ethic, and commitment to public service.

A proud Belmont College alumna, Ms. Neuhart earned dual degrees in Accounting and Computer Programming from the College.

“Pandora dedicated herself to making Monroe County a better place to live through her involvement on numerous committees and community efforts,” said Mrs. Suzanne Pollock, former Belmont College Board of Trustees member. “She was humble, kind, and never sought recognition for her contributions, but she deeply believed in the mission of Belmont College and often shared that the College was ‘a terrific match for the hardworking, honest citizens of her home county.’ Her friends are honored to recognize her legacy through this year’s scholarship and hope others will continue to support this effort for many years to come.”

The Pandora Neuhart Memorial Scholarship reflects her lifelong commitment to education, leadership, and community service while continuing her legacy of supporting future generations of Belmont College students.
