Belmont College Announces Big Machines Fair
(St. Clairsville, OH – April 15, 2026) — Belmont College invites the community to experience the excitement of powerful machinery and skilled trades at the upcoming Big Machines Fair, a free, family-friendly event designed to educate, inspire, and entertain.
The event will take place on Friday, May 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Belmont College CDL Training Lot, located at 68131 Hammond Rd., St. Clairsville, OH 43950.
Attendees of all ages will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the most impressive equipment in the workforce today. From interactive simulators to live demonstrations, the Big Machines Fair offers something for everyone.
“Events like the Big Machines Fair give our community a chance to explore high-demand careers in a fun, engaging, and hands-on environment,” said Jeremy Morris, Grant Writer, Workforce Development Education Coordinator. “We’re proud to showcase the skills, technology, and opportunities that exist in the trades, and are offered at Belmont College, while welcoming families to experience it together.”
He continued “Whether you’re considering a career in the trades, have a passion for big equipment, or are simply looking for an educational day out, the Big Machines Fair will offer a fun experience.”
Event Highlights Include:
- Real CDL Trucks on Display – Explore commercial trucks and learn what it takes to operate them.
- Welding Demonstrations – Watch skilled professionals showcase live welding techniques.
- Heavy Equipment Demonstrations – See powerful machines in action and learn how they’re used in the field.
- EMS & Fire Crews On-Site – Tour emergency vehicles and discover careers in public safety
In addition to the hands-on experiences, guests can enjoy a variety of food trucks and family-friendly activities, making it a perfect outing for the entire community. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
