Pump and System Basics Course, in partnership with Hydraulic Institute University

Offered in partnership with Hydraulic Institute University, the Pump and System Basics course is designed to be the starting point for learning the fundamentals of pumps, their components and construction, and how pump systems are operated and controlled. Attendees will leave with an understanding of typical pump components, construction, installation, and maintenance considerations, as well as a detailed understanding of the pump curve and its interaction with the system curve.
This classroom-based course is approved by the State of Ohio EPA for seven continuing education units (7 CEUs) to go
towards maintaining Water and Wastewater Operator Certifications.
