Med Practicum

Supervised work experience required for students in health technologies. Students are assigned to area physicians' offices, hospitals, and other health agencies as trainees or assistants in their selected health specialty field where practical experience and direct observation of job performance and requirements are afforded. (Prerequisites: Must be second year student, have a Quality Point Average of 2.5 or more, have completed previous work with high academic and professional quality, be approved by MED faculty for externship, and must have completed application form. All physical exam and immunization requirements must be met.) Course fee of $45.
