Spanish IV is an advanced-level course designed to provide students with the opportuity to achieve a high level of proficiency in Spanish language and culture. This course focuses on refining linguistic skills to near-native levels, with an emphasis on advanced grammar, syntax, and vocabulary usage. Students will engage in extenvive reading and anlysis of literary works from various Spanish-speaking regions, allowing them to deepen their understanding of literary themes, styles, and cultural contexts. Advanced speaking annd writing assignments will challenge students to express themselves with precision and sophistication, both in formal and informal registers. Cultural exploration remains a central component, encouraging students to critically analyze tnd appreciate the cultural contributions of Spanish-speakig societies. By the end of the course, students will be prepared for advanced study in Spanish or for real-world applications of their language skills in academic, professional, or personal contexts.
