This course will examine the various and complex relationships between literature and film. The language of film, the ways film has and does borrow from literature and the criteria for artistic merit of a film will be studied, specifically the skill and art of the camera and the sound contributions. Course may require participation in outside clasroom activities/events that relate to the course outcome.
