An introduction to open- and closed-loop industrial control systems. OpAmps, thyristors, optoelectronic devices, A/D and D/A converters, and timing devices, as well as instruments for measuring pressure, temperature, level, and flow. Laboratory experiments provide hands-on experience with the devices and circuits studied in the classroom Three hours lecture, three hours lab per week. Course fee of $25. (Prerequisite: ETC214)
