Metallurgical applications of atomic theory. Metallic structure and behavior of materials, fatigue, corrosion, diffusion, heat treatment, and metal fabrication. Engineering alloys, cements, concrete and wood. Materials testing is considered with laboratory applications. Course fee of $20. (Prerequisite: MET216)
