This beginning course introduces the student to the digital computer and its components and the various software that controls the computer. In addition, the student will focus on the latest social issues regarding computers. Students are also given hands-on experience in basic concepts of operation systems, word processing, data base management, and spreadsheet applications. Course fee of $15.
