This course introduces semi-conductors, what they are, their purpose, and how they are designed and constructed. Students will understand the operation that creates the chips and wafers.Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: 1) determine what a semiconductor is; 2) explain how chips are manufactured, and 3) understand the transport operation in a cleanroom environment.
