This short-term certificate program is a continuation of Maintenance Technician I. It’s intended to advance your training in basic engineering principles, communications, and technical skills to prepare you to help engineers safely use programmable logic controllers. In this program, you’ll gain knowledge and applied applications experience in developing control and measurement systems and procedures.

Once you complete the program, you’ll be able to sit for the ETA Student Electronics Technician industry-based certification, which is divided into five modules—DC, AC, Analog, Digital, and Comprehensive—to align with a growing segment of the electronics education industry charged with providing electronics training. This certification is from ETA International, which is accredited by the International Certification Accreditation Council (ICAC).
