Maintenance technicians make a living solving problems and keeping operations running smoothly. In our Maintenance Technician 1 short-term certificate program, you’ll learn the basic engineering principles and gain the technical skills to work with engineers using programmable logic controllers in a safe industrial environment. You’ll acquire a working knowledge of welding, electronics, and hydraulic principles as they apply to motors, directional valves, pressure control valves, and hydraulic actuators.

Through this program you can earn a basic beginner’s certification from ETA International, which is accredited by the International Certification Accreditation Council (ICAC) and sit for the ETA Student Electronics Technician industry-based certification. Our students are in high demand by employers, and most graduate having already received a job offer.
