Circle of Sound. The Art of Hand Drumming.

Discover the rhythm of the World in Belmont’s very first music class, led by music professor Natalie West! “Circle of Sound. The Art of Hand Drumming” will meet each Monday evening in July, and welcomes participants ages 12 and up, offering a unique opportunity to explore global drumming traditions in a supportive and energizing environment.

Through engaging drum circles, students will experience the profound stress-relieving benefits of communal rhythm-making. Research shows that drumming can reduce tension, clear the mind, and foster a sense of unity. Whether you are a beginner or a rhythm enthusiast, this class processes relaxation, creativity, and connection through the universal language of music. Don’t miss this chance to find your beat!
  • Dates: July 7; July 14; July 21; and July 28
  • Time: 6:00pm to 7:15pm
  • Drum will be provided for use during class.
  • Cost $100.00
