Finding a Future in Welding

“When I first started the program, I didn’t know very much about welding. As I continued through the classes and hands-on training, I kept learning more and improving my skills.” – Brady Hyre

Choosing Belmont College’s welding program turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made for my future. I had heard a lot of great things about the program, and I always felt welding would be a good career path for me. When my high school offered Belmont College as an option, I decided to take the opportunity, and I could not be happier with my choice.

During my time in the program, I earned welding certifications in positions 1G through 3G. I would describe my experience at Belmont College as relaxing and rewarding because I was able to learn skills in something I truly enjoy and find useful. Earning my certifications made the experience even more meaningful.

When I first started the program, I didn’t know very much about welding. As I continued through the classes and hands-on training, I kept learning more and improving my skills. Over time, I realized that welding is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

After graduation, I plan to get a job in the welding field and continue building my experience in the industry. The most valuable part of my time at Belmont College was everything I learned throughout the program. I really liked the way Belmont College taught the program and felt the instructors did a great job preparing students for the future.

My advice to future students is to stick with it, even if you do not know much about the program you have chosen in the beginning, because there is always room to learn and improve.
