SafeLand Basic Oil & Gas Safety Training

What is SafeLand Basic?

The SafeLand USA Basic Orientation is a standardized safety training program for workers entering the oil and gas industry. Developed to meet industry-wide safety expectations, this course covers essential topics like hazard communication, PPE, emergency response, and job-specific risks found in upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

Graduates receive a SafeLand card, recognized by major operators and contractors across the country—helping workers meet compliance requirements before setting foot on a job site.
